My journey

I thought it would be a good idea to write a blog about my journey, what has got me to the point I am at now and what I hope to do in the future.....

For today's blog on 13/05/23, I am going to start at the first memory I have of wanting to be an author. I was 6 years old and I loved making up stories, both at school and at home. I was really into deer at this point having watched Bambi and I think had visited Petworth House around this age too to see all the deer there. My first attempt therefore at writing a book was based on a story about deer. I read this story to my daughters and either there were some ages missing (it was over 30 years old!) or I didn't grasp the idea of a plot!!
